After impressing the audience with his performance in four films last year, Padman, Gold, 2.0 and a special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is all set for his first-ever collaboration with filmmaker Rohit Shetty.
He will be seen playing the role of an ATS (Anti Terrorist Squad) officer in the film titled Sooryavanshi. Earlier, the fans got a glimpse of Akshay's character from the upcoming flick in Rohit Shetty's recently released film Simmba which starred Ranveer Singh in the leading role.
Talking about the upcoming movie project, a source revealed that the 51-year-old actor will begin shooting his super cop action-drama in April after he wraps up the shoot of his films Mission Mangal and Good News.
