Veer Zara today completes 14 years and we still are not over Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s eternal romance which became one of the classic Bollywood films ever made. The film story which was based on a Pakistani Girl, Zaara Hayat Khan, and an Indian Air Force pilot, Veer Pratap Singh, left the audience in tears who were lamenting over their tragedy of love, separation, courage, and sacrifice too. The audience saw the characters grow old but who were passionately in love with each other before they reunited after 22 long years and realizing the truth about one another.

The film was helmed by none other than, Yash Chopra, one of the ace directors that Bollywood industry will ever have. Rani Mukherji portrayed the role of a Pakistani lawyer who fights the case for her client amidst all odds. Other than these three stars of the industry, the audience also got to see Hema Malini, Amitabh Bachchan, Kirron Kher, Anupam Kher, Divya Dutta, and late Zohra Sehgal in the film.
All the songs of the film were loved by the audience, and even today the people love listening to the soulful music of the film. Romantic tracks like ‘Tere Liye’, ‘Do Pal’ and ‘Main Yahaan Hoon’ touched the souls of the music lovers.
After 14 years, Preity is happily married to Gene Goodenough and is all set to the release of her forthcoming film, Bhaiaji Superhit. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will be seen as a dwarf in his soon to release flick, Zero which is helmed by Aanand L Rai. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
