Renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan has presented his cherished Juhu abode, Prateeksha, to his daughter Shweta Bachchan. The transfer was formalized through a gift deed signed on November 8, accompanied by a stamp duty payment of ₹50.65 lakh. Prateeksha, nestled within the Vithal Nagar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd, spans across two plots totaling 890.47 sq m and 674 sq m. With an estimated value of ₹50 crore, this historic residence was initially acquired by Amitabh Bachchan and was lovingly named by his father, the esteemed poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
This residence holds profound sentimental value as it was the inaugural home purchased by Amitabh Bachchan, where he resided with his parents. Its significance deepens as the venue where Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan exchanged vows. Amitabh Bachchan, on the occasion of his 81st birthday, shared heartfelt moments with Shweta, underscoring their special bond.
