Indian Woman Anju Returns from Pakistan After Controversial Journey

Anju, a 34-year-old woman from Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi district, returned to India via the Wagah Border after a controversial stint in Pakistan. Initially traveling to Pakistan in July to meet her Facebook friend Nasrullah, she reportedly converted to Islam and married him in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Amid speculation and conflicting reports about her intentions, Anju’s visa was extended for a year by Pakistan after her conversion and marriage. Her husband, Nasrullah, expressed concerns over her well-being, citing her longing for her children back in India.
