Preesha Chakraborty, a remarkable nine-year-old student at Warm Spring Elementary School, has been recognized as one of the “world’s brightest” by the prestigious Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth. Preesha’s exceptional performance on above-grade-level tests, including the SAT, ACT, and School and College Ability Test, earned her a coveted spot among the top students globally.

Scoring in the 99th percentile for advanced Grade 5 performances in both verbal and quantitative sections, Preesha achieved Grand Honors, a distinction awarded to less than 30 percent of students each year. This accomplishment qualifies her for over 250 advanced programs offered by Johns Hopkins CTY in mathematics, computer programming, chemistry, physics, reading, and writing for students in grades 2-12.

Preesha, a lifetime member of the Mensa Foundation, showcased her intellectual prowess at the age of six by securing the 99th percentile in the national-level NNAT. Beyond academics, Preesha enjoys traveling, hiking, and mixed martial arts.

Her parents express pride in Preesha’s consistent display of exceptional academic abilities, noting her passion for learning from an early age.
