Congress Leader Kamal Nath Stays in Delhi Amid Exit Rumors, Party Assures Continued Loyalty

Despite swirling rumors about his potential shift to the BJP, veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath remains in New Delhi. To assess the situation on the ground and engage with party MLAs in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress has dispatched General Secretary Jitendra Singh to Bhopal.

Singh stated that he recently spoke with Kamal Nath, who expressed his commitment to the party and discussed preparations for the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.”

The veteran leader is reportedly unhappy with the party leadership, blaming him for the electoral setbacks in Madhya Pradesh and his removal as the state chief. Additionally, his dissatisfaction extends to recent developments, such as the Rajya Sabha nomination and his son Nakul Nath’s announcement of contesting elections without official communication from the Congress. Despite the uncertainties, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has asserted that Kamal Nath remains, was, and will continue to be with the Congress.
