  • PublishedMarch 1, 2024

After concluding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting at 3:30 am, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his busy schedule, heading to Sindhri in Jharkhand to revive a fertilizer plant. This marks the third fertilizer plant revival in the country after the Gorakhpur and Ramagundam plants.

PM Modi’s day includes attending the event in Sindhri at 11 am, followed by a rush to Dhanbad for a public meeting at 12:30 pm. At 3 pm, he will lay foundation stones and inaugurate various projects in Arambagh. At 3:45 pm, he is scheduled to address a public meeting in the city.

The CEC meeting, chaired by PM Modi, aimed to finalize the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and representatives and chief ministers of 16 states were also present. The party is expected to announce the first list, consisting of 100 names, with PM Modi and Amit Shah likely to feature in it.

PM Modi will participate in several events on Saturday, including laying foundation stones, inaugurating projects in Krishnagar, addressing a public meeting, flagging off projects in Aurangabad, and starting development projects in Bihar’s Begusarai.

As the BJP’s key campaigner and face for the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi’s schedule reflects the party’s efforts to mobilize support for the upcoming polls.
