Janhvi Kapoor Announced for RC 16 Opposite Ram Charan
Janhvi Kapoor is expanding her horizons further south! On her 27th birthday, production house Mythri Movie Makers announced her casting in their upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled RC 16. This will be her second Telugu project, where she’ll be sharing screen space with the popular Telugu actor Ram Charan. Buchi Babu Sana will be directing the movie.
This news comes after Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor, confirmed her Telugu ventures earlier this year. He mentioned her excitement about working in the South Indian film industry and her upcoming projects with prominent actors like Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Suriya.
Janhvi is all set for her Telugu debut with the movie “Devara,” co-starring Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. This Koratala Siva directorial is scheduled for an October release this year.
Looking ahead, Janhvi has a busy slate of Hindi films as well. She’ll be seen playing a cricketer opposite Rajkummar Rao in the sports drama “Mr and Mrs Mahi.” This marks their second collaboration after “Roohi.” Fans can also look forward to her upcoming romantic co-starring Varun Dhawan titled “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” slated for release in April 2025.
