Actor Emraan Hashmi, renowned for his roles in the successful franchises Murder and Jannat, recently shared insights on the much-awaited Jannat 3 in an exclusive interview with HT City.
Hashmi’s association with these franchises has been synonymous with success, solidifying his position as a bankable star. Both series boasted captivating narratives and memorable soundtracks, earning him widespread acclaim.
Despite the anticipation surrounding a potential Jannat 3, Hashmi disclosed that there have been no developments on the project. In the interview, he expressed his enthusiasm for reprising his role, likening it to “old wine in a new bottle.” However, he acknowledged the necessity for the original makers, Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, to collaborate once again.
Hashmi lamented the unlikelihood of such a reunion, emphasizing the collaborative nature of filmmaking. Nevertheless, he remains focused on his passion for acting and hinted at forthcoming solo projects that resonate with his signature “bad boy” persona.
