Kangana Ranaut, the acclaimed actor turned politician, is set to embark on a new chapter in her career after securing victory in the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency during the 2024 elections. Joining the BJP in March 2024, Ranaut emerged triumphant by defeating Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by a margin of 74,755 votes. Her electoral debut marked a significant milestone as she garnered 537,002 votes against Singh’s 462,267.

In her post, she acknowledged the collective effort behind her victory, declaring it as a testament to the people’s faith in her and her party.

As she prepares to assume her role as Member of Parliament, Ranaut bid farewell to her mother, Asha Ranaut, before departing for Delhi. Sharing glimpses of her journey on social media, she donned a purple-pink saree with a matching blouse and black sunglasses, exuding confidence and determination for her new responsibilities. With a caption “Delhi calling” and another referring to herself as “Mandi Ki Sansad,” Ranaut’s Instagram stories reflected her anticipation and readiness for the parliamentary journey ahead.

In addition to her political endeavors, Ranaut continues to pursue her passion for acting and filmmaking.
