Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary’s ‘Laila Majnu’ to Re-Release in Kashmir

The cinematic gem ‘Laila Majnu,’ starring Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri, is set to re-release in Kashmir following the remarkable success of ‘Rockstar.’ The film, celebrated for its stunning visuals and heartfelt performances, was shot in the picturesque valley and is anticipated to resonate deeply with local audiences.

Originally released in September 2018, ‘Laila Majnu’ is being reintroduced to theaters in Srinagar on August 2, 2024. The re-release is inspired by the overwhelming reception of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Rockstar,’ which was also filmed in Kashmir and has seen tremendous love from the valley’s audiences after the reopening of theaters.

Presented by the acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, ‘Laila Majnu’ is directed by Sajid Ali and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film marks the debut of Avinash Tiwary and Triptii Dimri, who have since garnered significant acclaim for their performances. Their portrayal of the classic love story has been praised for its authenticity and emotional depth.
