High-Profile Terrorists Eliminated in Operation Sindoor: Sources

In a decisive counter-terrorism strike, India executed Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. According to reliable sources, several high-ranking terrorists were neutralized, including top operatives from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

Among those eliminated were Mudassar Khadian Khas (a senior LeT figure and head of Markaz Taiba in Muridke), Hafiz Muhammed Jameel (JeM ideologue and brother-in-law of Masood Azhar), Mohammad Yusuf Azhar (a key JeM trainer and IC-814 hijacking accused), Khalid alias Abu Akasha (LeT commander and arms smuggler), and Mohammad Hassan Khan (JeM member and son of operational commander Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri).

These individuals held strategic leadership roles, overseeing operations, training, radicalisation, and logistics for cross-border terror campaigns. Their elimination marks a significant blow to the operational capabilities of these Pakistan-based terror outfits.

Sources confirm that some funerals, notably Mudassar’s and Khalid’s, were attended by senior Pakistan Army officials, raising serious questions about state complicity. Notably, wreaths were laid on behalf of Pakistan’s Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir and Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, underscoring continued support to terrorist elements.
