India Responds to Pakistani Aggression with Precision Strikes on Six Military Bases
In response to Pakistan’s overnight offensive targeting 26 strategic sites, including key airbases and civilian infrastructure, India launched precision retaliatory strikes on six Pakistani military airbases, ensuring minimal collateral damage.
Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, during a special briefing, confirmed that four Indian Air Force stations — Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, and Bhuj — sustained limited damage after being targeted by Pakistani drones, fighter aircraft, and long-range missiles, including a high-speed missile strike on an airbase in Punjab at 1:40 AM.
In a calibrated counter-response, the Indian Armed Forces struck military installations at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunia, as well as radar facilities at Pasrur and the Sialkot aviation base, using precision-guided munitions.
Colonel Qureshi condemned Pakistan’s attacks on civilian infrastructure near Srinagar, Awantipora, and Udhampur, calling them a “clear violation of international norms.” Wing Commander Vyomika Singh confirmed that India remains in a high state of readiness and dismissed Pakistani claims of destroying Indian S-400 systems and airbases as “fabricated propaganda.” The government released time-stamped images of undamaged facilities to counter misinformation.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri condemned Pakistan’s shelling in Rajouri, which killed ADDC Raj Kumar Thapa and others, calling the act “provocative and escalatory.”
