India’s Precision Strike Leaves Giant Crater on Key Pakistani Airbase: Operation Sindoor Enters Second Phase

In a significant escalation under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces released a close-up video on Monday revealing the aftermath of a precision airstrike on Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan airbase. The footage shows a massive crater carved into the airstrip — a clear indicator of India’s targeted military response to continued provocations from Islamabad.
The strike, executed with high accuracy, marks the beginning of the operation’s second phase, which focuses on crippling critical Pakistani military infrastructure. According to defence sources, the airbase was being used as a key hub for launching unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missile systems targeting Indian territory. These attacks had resulted in damage to civilian and military installations across Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan last week.
The decision to escalate the military response was taken following high-level security meetings and intelligence assessments. Senior officials emphasized that the strike was measured, lawful, and aimed solely at neutralizing imminent threats to India’s sovereignty and public safety.
Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod reiterated that India’s intent is not escalation, but deterrence. “Any threat to India’s people or territory will be met with firm resolve,” he said during a joint press briefing.
The government has urged citizens to remain calm and assured that the Armed Forces are in full control of the situation.
This is a developing story. Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
