Minor Fire Breaks Out on Set of Harshvardhan Rane & Sonam Bajwa’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat During Wrap-Up Celebration
A freak accident occurred on the set of the upcoming romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, when helium balloons caught fire during a wrap-up celebration on Thursday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The incident took place in the early hours of the morning as the cast and crew celebrated the completion of five consecutive night shoots. A video shared by Rane on social media captured the moment balloons burst into flames just 8–9 feet behind the actors. Panic ensued briefly, but the situation was brought under control quickly.
“You know God is on your film’s side when a mishap doesn’t touch you,” Rane wrote in his caption, expressing gratitude that the entire team was safe. He credited the crew’s resilience and called the incident a “freak accident.”
Directed and co-written by Milap Zaveri, the film explores intense themes of love, passion, and obsession. Produced by Anshul Mohan, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is set for a theatrical release on October 2, 2025.
Rane, who also has upcoming projects with director Omung Kumar, will soon begin new film shoots alongside preparing for psychology exams and indulging in wildlife photography.
The production team assured fans that all safety protocols were followed, and the film’s schedule remains unaffected.
