The Mumbai Police continue to investigate the untimely death of actress and reality TV star Shefali Jariwala, who was found unresponsive at her residence on June 27. She was declared dead at a local hospital after being rushed there by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi.
During the investigation, police recovered two boxes of medication from her home containing Glutathione vials and skin glow tablets commonly used for anti-ageing treatments. According to officials, Jariwala had reportedly taken a Glutathione shot on an empty stomach on the day of her death while observing a fast.
Doctors consulted during the probe have suggested that consuming such medication while fasting may have led to a sudden drop in blood pressure, possibly triggering cardiac arrest. The police are currently examining all possibilities related to the medication and Jariwala’s health condition.
While no foul play is suspected at this stage, the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report is released. The Mumbai Police have stated that an official update will follow once forensic and toxicology reports are available.
Shefali Jariwala rose to fame with the hit 90s dance track Kaanta Laga and was later seen in popular reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye. Her sudden demise has shocked fans and the entertainment industry alike.
