Celebrated actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed his return to the much-anticipated comedy film Hera Pheri 3, putting an end to weeks of speculation following his abrupt exit. In a recent podcast appearance with Himanshu Mehta, Rawal clarified that all issues with the production team have been resolved and that he is reuniting with his long-time friends Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty under director Priyadarshan’s vision.
Addressing previous rumors, Rawal stated, “There is no controversy. When people have loved something so much, you have to be extra careful. You owe them your best.” He emphasized the importance of teamwork and shared his belief that the cast and crew must work hard to deliver a film worthy of the audience’s affection.
Rawal, who immortalized the character of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, expressed his joy about joining forces again with Kumar and Shetty, saying, “They are friends for many, many years. We just had to fine-tune a few things.”
The film had earlier hit a rough patch when Akshay Kumar’s production house reportedly filed a ₹25 crore suit against Rawal, citing financial losses and production delays. With matters now settled, the team is set to begin shooting in January 2026.
Fans of the iconic franchise can now look forward to the return of the legendary trio in what promises to be another laughter-filled chapter of Hera Pheri.
