Netflix India and Yash Raj Films have unveiled the official poster for Mandala Murders, a gripping mythological-crime thriller featuring Vaani Kapoor in her OTT debut as detective Rea Thomas. Set to premiere on July 25, the series promises a genre-bending journey through ritualistic killings, ancient secrets, and hidden societies.
Created by Gopi Puthran, known for the Mardaani franchise, Mandala Murders is set in the fictional town of Charandaspur, where a disturbing pattern of crimes linked to a centuries-old secret society begins to unfold. The story follows detectives Rea Thomas (Kapoor) and Vikram Singh (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) as they unravel cryptic symbols, buried prophecies, and dangerous beliefs that blur the line between faith and madness.
The newly released poster features Vaani Kapoor in a gritty, intense look, holding a pistol, surrounded by flames and symbolic imagery. Also starring Surveen Chawla and Shriya Pilgaonkar, the series combines crime and mythology in a dark, suspenseful narrative.
A collaborative project between Netflix and YRF Entertainment, Mandala Murders is co-directed by Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat, and executive produced by Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra, Yogendra Mogre, and Akshaye Widhani. The series follows the success of their previous collaboration, The Railway Men.
With elements of mystery, myth, and crime, Mandala Murders is poised to deliver an intense, thought-provoking experience when it premieres on Netflix on July 25.
