Parag Tyagi Pens Emotional Tribute to Late Wife Shefali Jariwala: “She Will Never Be Forgotten”
Days after the untimely passing of actor and dancer Shefali Jariwala, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, remembering her as a radiant soul who always put others first.
Shefali, widely known for her iconic performance in the song Kaanta Laga, passed away on June 27 due to a cardiac arrest. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by Parag, where she was declared dead on arrival.
In his emotional post, Parag described Shefali as “fire wrapped in grace,” a woman of strength, intention, and warmth. Remembering her nurturing nature, he wrote, “She was sab ki maa — a devoted wife, loving daughter, guiding sister, and fiercely loyal friend.”
Parag reflected on her enduring impact, saying, “Shefali deserves to be remembered by her light — by the joy she sparked, and by the lives she lifted.” He ended his message with a prayer for love and healing: “Let that be her legacy — a soul so radiant, she will never, ever be forgotten.”
A prayer meet was held in Mumbai on July 2, attended by close friends and family members. Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the exact cause of her death. Officials found anti-ageing medication at her residence, including Glutathione injections and Vitamin-C pills, reportedly self-administered.
Shefali Jariwala’s memory lives on in the hearts of those she touched with her light and love.
