Sara Arjun Shines Opposite Ranveer Singh in Aditya Dhar’s Spy Drama ‘Dhurandhar’

20-year-old Sara Arjun, daughter of actor Raj Arjun, is making headlines after being cast opposite Ranveer Singh (40) in the much-anticipated spy thriller Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The film’s intense first look, released on Ranveer’s birthday (July 6), has sparked buzz across social media—not only for its gripping tone but also for the 20-year age difference between the lead pair.

While the casting has triggered online debate, fans and film analysts are eagerly awaiting to see the cinematic justification behind the pairing, especially given the espionage backdrop of the story.

Sara, who began her acting journey as a child artiste, gained fame with her emotional performance in Deiva Thirumagal (2011) alongside Chiyaan Vikram. Since then, she has built a diverse portfolio with films like Ek Thi Daayan, Jai Ho, Saivam, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Saand Ki Aankh, Sillu Karuppati, and Ponniyin Selvan, where she played young Nandini (the younger version of Aishwarya Rai’s character).

With Dhurandhar being her biggest project to date, Sara Arjun is poised for a major leap in her career. Her role remains under wraps, adding to the intrigue around the spy thriller set in enemy territory.
