Baaghi 4 Opens to Mixed Reviews: Tiger Shroff Earns Praise, Film Faces Criticism

The much-awaited Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, and Sonam Bajwa, hit theatres today and has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media platform X. Directed by A Harsha, the action-thriller is the first A-rated installment in the popular Baaghi franchise.

Audiences have shared divided opinions on Tiger Shroff’s latest outing. Many viewers praised Shroff for stepping outside his comfort zone, portraying a darker and sharper character. One user noted, “Did not expect to see this side of Tiger. He nailed it. Sanjay Dutt as the villain is pure menace. The film is a mad combo of action, emotions, and twist.” Another review gave the film 4 out of 5 stars, calling it “dark, gritty, and soaked in gore,” while praising Shroff for bringing “madness, mayhem, and mass elevation like never before.”

Fans also highlighted the performances of Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu, with particular appreciation for Sandhu’s versatility in her role. Some described the movie as a complete package of action, emotion, and drama.

However, not all reactions were positive. A section of viewers criticized the film for an overuse of songs, weak buildup, and messy execution. One user commented, “Action feels lazy, no buildup… Tiger tries to hold it together, but the mess is everywhere.”

Despite the mixed reviews, Baaghi 4 has generated strong buzz, clashing at the box office with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files.
