Legendary Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been spotted training Punjab Kings’ batters Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, continuing his legacy of mentoring young cricketing talent. Yuvraj previously coached Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, both of whom have impressed fans with their stellar performances in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.
The budding talents, Arya and Prabhsimran, have now come under Yuvraj’s guidance to refine their strokeplay and match temperament. Priyansh Arya, who shot to fame after hitting six consecutive sixes in the inaugural Delhi Premier League season, was signed by Punjab Kings for Rs 3.80 crore in IPL 2025. He justified his price by scoring 475 runs in 17 innings at a strike rate of 179.24 and added another 303 runs in the DPL 2025 at a strike rate of 166.48.
Prabhsimran Singh has been a consistent performer for Punjab since 2023, scoring 358 runs in IPL 2023 and 354 in IPL 2024. The 25-year-old had his best season in 2025, amassing 549 runs in 17 innings with four half-centuries at an average of 32.29.
Yuvraj’s mentorship has been widely praised by the cricketing fraternity for nurturing the next generation of stars. His guidance is expected to help Arya and Prabhsimran elevate their game and deliver consistent performances for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025 and beyond.
