Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda Passes Away at 35 After Tragic Accident

The Punjabi music industry is in deep mourning as popular singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away at the age of 35 on Wednesday morning. The beloved artist, known for hit tracks like Sardaari, Zor, Rabb Karke, Kali Jawande Di, and Mera Dil, succumbed to injuries sustained in a tragic road accident near Baddi.

Jawanda had been under intensive medical care at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, since September 27, 2025, following severe head and spinal injuries caused by the accident. Despite the best efforts of doctors, his condition remained critical, and he was placed on life support.

His untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi music and film fraternity. Political leaders, fans, and fellow artists have expressed their grief over the heartbreaking loss. Former Punjab Congress President Pratap Singh Bajwa wrote, “Heartbreaking to hear about the untimely passing of Rajvir Jawanda. Your soulful voice and vibrant spirit will echo in our hearts forever.”

Before achieving fame in the music world, Rajvir Jawanda briefly pursued a career in law enforcement, completing training with the Punjab Police. However, his passion for music led him to become one of Punjab’s most loved voices. His songs have garnered millions of streams globally, and his performances in films like Jind Jaan, Subedar Joginder Singh, Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji showcased his remarkable versatility.


The void left by Rajvir Jawanda’s passing will be deeply felt by fans and the industry alike.
