Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Showcases Investment Opportunities at Successful Business Roadshow in Osaka, Japan

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s business roadshow in Osaka received an enthusiastic response today, with several prominent Japanese companies expressing strong interest in exploring investment opportunities in Punjab.

Addressing the gathering of leading industrial houses, Chief Minister Mann said the robust participation of Japanese corporate leaders reflects the growing institutional commitment toward deepening Indo-Japanese economic cooperation. He added that the encouraging response highlights the confidence of global investors in Punjab’s progressive industrial landscape, business-friendly policies, and attractive investment ecosystem.

During the roadshow, the Chief Minister showcased Punjab’s strategic geographic advantage, including seamless connectivity to the National Capital Region and major ports, which positions the state as a gateway for industries looking to scale in North India. He emphasized Punjab’s strong industrial clusters, uninterrupted high-quality power supply, abundant skilled workforce, and reform-oriented governance framework.

Mann also highlighted the state’s transformative regulatory initiatives, particularly the FastTrack Punjab single-window system, which offers more than 173 Government-to-Business (G2B) services, ensuring faster clearances and ease of doing business.

“Our aim is to build long-term partnerships with global investors and position Punjab as a preferred destination for manufacturing, services, and technology-led enterprises,” the Chief Minister said, inviting Japanese companies to participate in the state’s growth journey.

The Osaka roadshow forms part of the Chief Minister’s broader international outreach initiative to attract high-value investments, promote industrial collaboration, and strengthen Punjab’s global economic footprint.
