Censor Certificates had been trouble in paradise for many movies like Padmavat, Lipstick Under Burkha et al. Prahalad Nilaahani has been surrounded with many controversies in his tenure after putting many movies in a mess with not giving them green light. Prahalad served his tenure and now movies still face hard road for Censor Certificates and recently the movie which came into Censor's rough patch is Kareena Kapoor Khan's comeback movie 'Veere Di Wedding' The trailer of Veere Di Wedding, starring Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania created quite a stir when it first hit the web, owing to its frequent use of profanities and cuss words. There are also scenes were girls are discussing an orgasm, and a sequence where the protagonists use a vibrator. There were reports that Ekta Kapoor had asked for an A certificate, for the film. Now, the cuss words and profanities in the trailer have been allowed to stay, courtesy of Jeetendra and Anil Kapoor. The film has received an A certificate. "Both Jeetendra (Ekta Kapoor's father) and Anil argued heatedly in favour of the colourful language spoken in the film. They are convinced that today's youngsters speak that foul lurid leery language. Some panel members objected. But finally, the board members agreed to let the language remain intact and gave the film an 'A' certificate," a source told Deccan Chronicle. The movie is directed by Shashanka Gosh and there is a lot of positive buzz about this movie. If trade analyst to be believed then VDW will cross 100 crores easily.
