5 EASY AND SIMPLE HACKS TO COOL OFF THIS SUMMER!

The dry and hot summer rays steal us of our glow and enthusiasm. It drains us of the energy we need to work with. We feel tired all over the day and irritated over little things. Not only our faces, but our health also deteriorates because of the unbearable heat. So here are some simple and easy hacks that can work magic for those who are barely getting through the day.

  1. Stay Cool Don’t let the summer heat you up. The more our body heats up, the more energy it loses. Make sure to wear loose and comfortable clothes. Body-hugging outfits prevent the skin from sweating and result in increased body temperature. Here is a home-made recipe for cucumber mist spray which will cool you up anytime! [caption id="attachment_38019" align="alignnone" width="2992"]cucumber Source[/caption] Make a smooth cucumber puree after peeling it off. Now strain it by using a cheesecloth and squeeze gently. Make sure to extract as much liquid as you can in a clean bowl. Now add half teaspoon lemon juice along with 2 tablespoons of mint juice. Now add a half cup of rosewater and stir the mixture thoroughly. Pour it into a spray bottle and keep in in your bag when you go out. If the solution feels too dense, add more rosewater or distilled water.
  2. Stay Hydrated [caption id="attachment_38021" align="alignnone" width="836"]hyderated Source[/caption] Due to excessive sweating, we lose a large proportion of moisture from our body. Severe loss of water can even cause dehydration.  This is why we should always carry a water bottle wherever we go. We can also make an exfoliating body scrub to ail all the dry skin problems. Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Now add 1 tablespoon of sea salt and extra virgin olive oil. Now your scrub is ready! Scrub the paste for 10-15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Use a body wash afterward and finish by applying a moisturizer. Take regular baths to keep the skin clean and fresh.

3. Eye Care

[caption id="attachment_38024" align="alignnone" width="843"]eyes Source[/caption] Harmful radiation from the sun can damage the skin near our eyes. So avoid direct sun exposure between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm. Also avoid exercising outside, rather join a gym, or do it at home. To freshen up your eyes after a hectic day of work, try making another easy and homemade eye mask. Take an unpeeled cucumber and 5-6 mint leaves and blend them together. Now add a small amount of water. Take small sized cotton pads and dip them into the paste and squeeze to avoid dripping. Flatten the pads and freeze them after placing into zip-lock bags separately. 4. Lovely Luscious Lips

It can become very difficult to keep those lips from chapping, no matter how much water we drink. So make sure to carry a lip balm of 15 SPF at least. Keep on reapplying it as required. Now mix it with a teaspoon of sour cream and apply it during the night. You can also apply coconut oil or ghee to keep your lips nourished.

5. Diet is the Key

Make a salad containing citrus fruits, berries, tomato and Vitamin E rich nuts. Also add mango, strawberries, and papaya to your diet. Make yourself to eat light and frequently. You can also add seafood to your diet, like salmon, tuna, lobster and steamer clams. You should also drink green tea to speed up your metabolism.
