5 POLLYWOOD MOVIES THAT SPARKED MAJOR CONTROVERSIES!

Pollywood films are buried deep into controversies most of the time its makers try to take a bold step.

If something is double-edged sword these days then that is controversy. Why movies face such controversy? Pollywood is full of entertainment and emotions, but sometimes Punjabi movies felt into controversy. There are some movies that have faced it. Five of them are-
  • Kaum De Heere

  • The Black Prince

  • Sadda Haq

However, the movie evoked polarising reactions before its release. Sikh protests demanded a ban as according to them, the film depicted real identity of police atrocities and Punjab terrorism.

A story of the movie revolved around a Sikh boy growing up in Punjab during the turbulent 1980s. A reason for the ban of this movie was the film that glorifies terrorism.
