Mossad Releases Rare Footage of Covert Ops in Iran Ahead of Major Airstrikes
In an unprecedented move, Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency has released rare footage of covert drone strikes inside Iran, highlighting its role in paving the way for the massive Israeli aerial assault conducted early Friday under Operation Rising Lion.
The footage, aired on Israeli and international media, shows precision drone strikes on suspected missile launchers and air defense systems near Tehran. According to Israeli officials, Mossad agents infiltrated central Iran, established a drone base, and smuggled in weapons to disable radar and S-300 anti-aircraft batteries, allowing Israeli jets to penetrate deep into Iranian airspace.
The covert ops were followed by over 100 coordinated Israeli airstrikes involving more than 200 aircraft, targeting Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure. Among the high-profile casualties were General Mohammad Bagheri, General Hossein Salami, and General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, along with two nuclear scientists and several senior officials of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
Israeli officials described the operation as a strategic success, claiming no aircraft losses. The rare release of Mossad’s footage underscores Israel’s operational depth and precision capability.
In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise, a large-scale missile barrage that struck Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, killing one and injuring at least 34.
As regional tensions escalate, the international community has called for restraint, while UN officials and global leaders continue diplomatic efforts to prevent further conflict.
