The celebration of birthdays by Bollywood personalities is always on point. In a grand style, Abhishek Bachchan together with his family recently celebrated his 42nd birthday in Sydney, Australia. A picture with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya taken at an eatery went viral across social media. But, after a well-celebrated birth anniversary, the actor's Twitter account got hacked. According to the reports, the hack resulted in the absence of the blue tick on his account and his profile picture got changed to a missile that read 'Ayyildiz Tim'. Abhishek's account has been hacked by the Pro-Pakistan Turkish Cyber Army. Prior to the hack on Abhishek's Twiter account, actor Anupam Kher's account was also hacked. The Times of India, in an edition reported that, the nation has seen a total of 1.71 lakh cybercrimes between 2014-2017. With more Indians going online, cyber experts have said putting in place a critical infrastructure to predict and prevent cybercrimes was crucial. After the incident, Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to let his fans in on what happened. He tweeted;
Yes, yes my account got hacked. Quite chuffed that they thought me interesting enough actually. All sorted out now and back to normal. Well.... As normal as it can get. Thank you for your concern.He further thanked Twitter India for their prompt action and lastly re-tweeted @GautamBThakker's post warning his followers to beware of hackers and take caution while surfing the internet.
