Earlier on Gabruu.com, it was reported that a film adapted by the Sanjay Baru’s book ‘The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh,’ will be made. The book controversially depicted the former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh of not having control of his own cabinet and being inferior to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Baru was media adviser to Manmohan Singh from May 2004 to August 2008. However, the filmmakers needed a Non-Objective Certificate (NOC) from the former Prime Minister, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other real-life characters depicted in the film. All the issue surrounding the film were reported to have created quite a buzz of what is to be expected from the movie. Well, the good news is, the biographical political film written by Hansal Mehta will star veteran actor Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh and Akshaye Khanna as Sanjay Baru the then media advisor and chief spokesperson. Giving more details about the upcoming film is the film writer Hansal Mehta on his Twitter. He tweeted;
