Karan Johar has always treated his fans and the audience with romantic films one after another over the years. Now, seems like the filmmaker is now trying his hands across various genres.
Yester evening ie on Friday Karan took to his social media handle where he announced that his production house ‘Dharma Productions’ is “anchoring” a horror film. Posting the announcement on Instagram, Karan promised to share more details about the upcoming project on Monday. His cryptic post read as;
“Dharma Production is anchoring a new franchise of fear. 15th November 2019. See you soon,”.

The deliberate usage of the words "sea" and "anchoring" made us wonder whether it could be the upcoming horror flick starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar? Let us tell you what is making our one-track-mind think in this direction, in particular.
So, earlier this year, reports had claimed that Bhumi and Vicky would be seen opposite each other in a movie, which would be directed by debutante Bhanu Pratap Singh, who has been an assistant to director Shashank Khaitan. Now, KJo has also tagged them in the post in question.
Also, only recently, in conversation with a leading daily, Bhumi was quoted as saying,
“I'm excited to team up with Vicky and Kartik. They have had a great run at the box office and they have made a strong mark with what they bring to the table as actors.” She continued by saying, “I'm doing very different work with them and so audiences will get to see two very different sides of me in these films.”
Moreover, earlier this year, a report suggested the two actors are pairing up for a high-concept scary story that revolves around a static ship in Mumbai. The two actors (Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal) would also be co-starring in Karan Johar's next ambitious directorial, Takht, a multi-starrer period drama set in the Mughal era. The film will also star Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor and hit the theatres in December 2020.
