Akshay & Bhumi collaborate for a scary thriller | Gabruu

The Khiladi of the Hindi film industry announces a new film which will star Bhumi Pednekar as the lead heroine.

Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly the busiest artist in the entertainment industry. The year saw his three major releases and need we say the love masses have shown for the films. Akshay Kumar released films are Kesari, Housefull 4 and Mission Mangal. He is waiting for his fourth release, Good Newwz.

Other than this, Akshay Kumar is also busy banking various projects. The actor recently took to his social media handle and announced a new project titled ‘Durgavati’. The main lead of the film will be Bhumi Pednekar & it is a scary-thriller.

The forthcoming film will be directed by G Ashok, Viram Mix will be producing it and Akshay’s production house, Cape Of Good Films along with Bhushan Kumar will be presenting Bhumi Pednekar starrer.

However, this won’t be the first time that Bhumi and Akshay have collaborated for a project. Previously the two gave a blockbuster together titled Toilet-Ek Prem Katha. The film discussed the social issue of sanitation and open defecation in the country. It received accolades from the masses far and wide.

Talking about their individual projects, Bhumi and Akshay Kumar both are awaiting the release of their films, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Good Newwz respectively.

Pati Patni Aur Woh stars Kartik Aarya and Ananya Pandey in prominent roles other than Pednekar. The film will hit the screens on 6th December.

Good Newws

Good Newwz is a multi starrer  Akshay Kumar with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani essaying important roles. It will release on 27th December.
