AKSHAY KUMAR HAS HURT HIMSELF; KNOW HERE HOW

Akshay Kumar the only actor in Bollywood known for performing his stunts all by himself has hurt himself on the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Kesari’. The actor suffered a rib injury while he was shooting a heavy duty sequence for the climax scene of his movie. After which he had to take a break from the movie. The report claimed that he was advised to take rest after he got hurt but even after several suggestions he decided to stay on the set location in 'Wai' and refused to return to 'Mumbai'. The actor was supposed to wrap the action sequence on Thursday. 'Kesari' is based on the 1897 Sargarhi battle. The battle was fought between British Indian Army that comprised 21 Sikh soldiers and Afghan Orakzai tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province. The interesting part of the movie is that, Akshay will be seen in several action scenes which are being choreographed by stunt coordinator Lawrence Woodward of the Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) fame. He has been seen wearing a turban in his previous movies like ‘Singh is King’ and ‘Singh Is Bling’ but this one is entirely different be it the looks, his character or the plot of the movie.

I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride,
-says Akshay. The movie will star Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar in a lead role, which will be directed by Anurag Singh and will be produced jointly by Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna. The release date for the movie is scheduled for Holi in the year 2019.
