Akshay Kumar is a name that is synonymous with versatility. Yes, we can say this about him because, after Padman, his upcoming films will have him in different roles. He will be seen as a coach in 'Gold', a villain in '2.0', a warrior in 'Kesari' and funny character in 'Housefull 4'. With a conscious effort, Akshay Kumar has broken out of the stereotyped image he once had due to typecasting. Recently while interacting with the press, Akshay Kumar said, “I need to keep on changing. I don’t want anyone to put an image on me. I have gone through that in early days of my career when only action image was associated with me. I wanted to do other things, but I couldn’t do it. So I always try to do different things (now).” The superstar is definitely leaving no stone unturned in trying out different genres. And that is why after all the above-mentioned films, Akshay Kumar is reported to have signed up for another movie and to surprise us all, it is a horror flick. According to the reports, the horror flick will be a remake of a Tamil horror movie. Titled 'Kanchana 2: Ganga', Akshay will be seen in the Hindi remake of the film. Released in 2015, the film was helmed by Raghava Lawrence who is also expected to direct the Hindi version. More from the report reveals that Akshay will be seen playing a dual role in the film and playing as the female lead for the film will be Taapsee Pannu. At present, Akshay Kumar's latest film release 'Padman' may not have broken records at the box office. However, his upcoming films are expected to perform well at the Box Office.
