But seems like the actor has outplayed everything this time. The 50-year-old actor is all set to make 2018 another entertaining year at the movies. He is busy at the moment promoting his upcoming movie Pad Man and the first look poster of his next flick is already out and trending. Sharing the first look at his official Twitter handle Akshay quoted he was feeling immensely proud sharing the information on most ambitious film for him.

It will be really exciting to watch which actor wins this race in entertaining the audiences with an exact same concept. The movie goes on the floor from today is being co-produced by filmmaker Karan Johar. This is Akshay's third time portraying as a Sikh on the silver screen. The actor will be performing heavy-duty action scenes alongside stunt coordinator Lawrence Woodward. A directorial of Punjabi helmer Anurag Singh the movie is based on 'The Battle of Saragarhi'. The project was officially announced by superstar Salman Khan last year, it had to be a joint venture of Salman and Karan’s Dharma Productions where Akshay was to lead in the movie. Though things didn’t work out as planned and Salman backed out from it. When Akshay was asked to comment on the issue, he replied, “Yes, we couldn't do it. I am making the film with Karan Johar and that's it." Kesari will hit the theatres on the festive season of Holi in 2019.
