ALIA BHATT AND RANBIR KAPOOR SHOOT FOR BRAHMASTRA IN VARANASI, SEE PICS

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are shooting for their upcoming film, Brahmastra together in Varanasi. New pictures are doing trends on the social media of the two actors shooting on the sets of the holy city. These pictures show Ranbir dressed in a green shirt and denim jeans with a bag around his shoulders. Alia Bhatt is dorning a white top and denim jeans with a leather backpack.


One of the pictures also show Ranbir standing on the boat while it moves ahead in the dark. Meanwhile, Alia is seen sitting on the deck of the boat. In other picture Alia and Ranbir are seen holding hands and also holding plastic fans trying to get rid of the heat.


Previously a picture of Ranbir and Alia posing inside a temple also did rounds on the internet. The pair was last seen at the Mumbai airport when they were on their way to Varanasi. According to a report in one of the leading dailies, the shoot of the film will be done over a period of 20 days and will be done in Ramnagar Fort and few parts of the shooting will also be done in Chet Singh Fort in Varanasi.


The director of the film is Ayan Mukherji. The name of Ranbir’s character is Shiva and Alia plays the role of Isha in the film. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Tollywood actor Nagarjuna. The first installment of the film was to release in December this year but has been shifted to next year.

Logo of the film was revealed on Mahashivratri at the Kumbh Mela at Pragyaraj. This was the first time that a logo was revealed with the help of drones.

Ayan had some time ago shared a video of his recce for the film on Integra handle. He had also shared a picture in which he was seen reading on the banks of the Holy Ganges.
