'Bhuj: The Pride of India' stars biggies like Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Ammy Virk, Ajay Devgn along with Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Pranitha Subhash.
Now, there is one more update about one more actor joining this megastar cast for the film. The filmmakers have announced that Punjabi actress Ihana Dhillon will be playing the role of a mother in this forthcoming film.
During an interview, Ihana said, “It’s a brilliant script, and essaying the role of an Air Force officer is totally new for me. It’s challenging. My director Abhishek ji is extremely clear in his head about this character. The film shows the independence of women back in 1971. I am extremely proud to be associated with this project.”
In the film, Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of Air force pilot Vijay Karnik, who was the head of the Bhuj airbase during the historic Indo-Pak war.
Parineeti Chopra will be seen essaying the role of an Indian spy and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing the role of a social worker. Punjabi actor Ammy Virk will be portraying the role of a fighter pilot in the forthcoming Bollywood flick.
Bhuj: The Pride Of India is scheduled to release on 14th August 2020.
The film was announced last year and will be first Bollywood project for Punjabi artists Ihana Dhillon and second Bollywood project for Ammy Virk.
Ammy Virk’s first Bollywood film is ’83, one of the most anticipated films of this year. The film will be narrating Indian cricket team’s historic win during the 1983 cricket world cup. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Saqib Saleem, Sahil Khattar, Pankaj Tripathy, Boman Irani among many others. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film will hit the screens on 10th April.
