Actress Anushka Sharma turned 30 today and her plans are as noble as her. The actress wrote down a note to announce her new project that she will be building an animal shelter on the outskirts of Mumbai. Anushka wrote in the note posted on Twitter.
On my birthday, in my own little way, I'm starting something that will give our fellow living beings equal rights, equal care and equal love. I'm building an animal shelter just outside Mumbai - a home for those animals that are stranded, left to fend for themselves, have to brave harsh surroundings. A home where they will be cared for, loved, protected and nurturedHere’s that note that she posted on Twitter: A source also reveals, "Anushka has always wanted to build a special home for all animals in need. Ageing pets, injured, stranded creatures and strays can find a safe home with sufficient space to play and live their lives. She did extensive research for the shelter for over three years. Anushka has been taking time out and visiting such institutions across India. She wanted to start the facility only when she was absolutely ready to run it. Her main focus was to ensure hygiene, health and protection for all the animals in need." Anushka got married to cricketer Virat Kohli last year and on her birthday hubby Kohli posted a sweet message on Instagram saying: Happy B'day my love. The most positive and honest person I know.
