These days so many Punjabi artists are joining the Bollywood industry and similarly to the Bollywood industry. Many TV actors and Bollywood actors are now investing their time, money and energy in the Pollywood industry. Punjabi artists like Diljit Dosanjh, Guru Randhawa, Harrdy Sandu, Isha Rikhi, Jassie Gill have gained immense fame and success after they joined the Bollywood film industry.
But these are not the only Punjabis who have made a place for themselves in the industry. Many years ago, there was a Punjabi man who worked as a music director and was able to garner a lot of respect and love from many in the industry.
Well, here we are talking about the famous music composer, Surender Singh Sodhi. He was a man who only spread love and positivity through his work. People like him are born to spread positivity and love through their work, and he was one of them. And when these precious gems leave us there is nothing more saddening for us, especially the ones who knew such gems personally. Today we have lost such a gem.
Surender Singh Sodhi passed away for his heavenly abode today at 4 in the morning. He was an outstanding music composer who composed the music for many Bollywood films. His demise has left his close ones in tears and a void in the lives of his friends who loved him dearly. With him, the Bollywood industry has lost one of the most respected and ace music composers of all times.
He started working as a music composer in 1977 and has composed music for many hit Bollywood films ever since. He has contributed to movies like Deewana, Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Aflatoon, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Dhadkan, Special 26, and Rustom. The last movie for which he composed music was Akshay Kumar starrer, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha.
His work will always be remembered through his soothing and famous songs.
