Akshay Kumar's next film seems to be very precious for him because he left his family vacation and came back to India to attend this special event which was held at Mumbai.

The film is helmed by Reema Kagti and narrates the story of the time when India won its first gold medal after gaining independence. Akshay and the entire team of the film was seen at the press conference where they also launched the first song, of their movie, 'Naino Ne Baandhi'.

During the conference, Akshay said
"Winning a gold is a very huge thing. My son won the black belt in martial arts. We all should work hard. We won more than 18 gold medals in Common Wealth games." On the importance of Hockey in our country Akshay further added: "Apart from cricket, football and hockey too are becoming popular and even the government is supporting these other games now. It's the first game in 1948 in which India got a gold and therefore I wish 'Gold' will give hockey more importance as a sport "
