A noted veteran Bollywood actress has lodged a police complaint against a businessman, alleging 'stalking and criminal intimidation'. She has not only been a contestant of Miss India but was also the third runner-up in the pageant. The veteran actress had also competed at the Miss Asia/Pacific content and had brought home the crown. According to ANI, the actress has filed a molestation and stalking complaint against businessman Amar Khanna. Whereas according to another news service agency the alleged has been named as Amar Khan in the reports. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/958052668592685056 The complaint has been registered by molestation survivor Zeenat Aman against the alleged business person under sections 304 D (stalking) and 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code. In the initial investigation, it is being revealed by the police that the two had known each other for a while. However, the relationship between them soured overdue to a dispute regarding some property matter after which the actress stopped talking to the businessman. She had broken off all the contacts with the alleged but after failing to convince the person to stop stalking, the veteran actress approached police and filed a complaint at Juhu police station. Further details related to the matter are not yet known. Mumbai Police spokesperson and Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Deoraj had also told IANS.
The Juhu Police Station is investigating the matter.The alleged businessman is said to be absconding at the moment whereas the police are now on the lookout for him. Zeenat Aman is one of the most popular actresses of her time. The actress rose to fame with films like 'Hare Rama, Hare Krishna', 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', 'Heera Panna', 'Yaadon Ki Baraat', 'Don' to name a few apart from many others. Aman who had revolutionized the concept of fashion at her time when actresses were not considered so important in Bollywood films, had once made a statement that female actors in those days were not handsomely paid as they are today.
