According to one of the leading dailies, the superstar was taken to the hospital at 2 AM on 15th October and has been admitted in the hospital since then. Only the members of the Bachchan family have been his visitors.
However, the sources close to the family claim that he visited the hospital for a routine check-up and was not admitted there.
Since his accident during the shoot of his 1983 'Coolie', the fans have been rather edgy whenever hospitals and Amitabh Bachchan is used one same sentence. During that unfortunate accident, he was immediately rushed to the hospital & had to undergo several surgeries and recovered fully but not before being declared clinically dead.
He was later put on a ventilator prior to being put on the ventilator but all the stress and tension came to an end once the actor was declared out of danger. On Thursday, on the occasion of karwachauth, he even took to his social media handle and sent his best greetings of the festival to all his fans and followers.
