Began from the diverse kitchens of Mumbai, India, she eventually led her steps towards a current position. She is a Chef De Cuisine at Junoon, an Indian restaurant in New York City. She was 13 years old when started cooking in her parent's kitchen by taking help from her mother's unused different cookbooks. Sampath got another spark when she attended Johnson & Wales University. In 2014, through an internship in Junoon after studies, her skills and passion let her reach for the sky. She has also worked with the Taj Group in India in 2009. In 2016, she won the American cooking show Chopped, which she started viewing it from 2013 and was not the easiest competition at all.
