'BIOPICS ON SPORTS BEST WAY TO REMOVE DRUGS ISSUE' SAYS SANDEEP SINGH

In India half of the population are into drug addiction. This is one such issue we all fighting for and working to make our country A Drug Free . Bollywood has already started with this project by making sports biopic like Mary Kom, Bhag Milkha Bhag, Dangal who delved into the live of sports pesonalities like M.C Mary Kom, Milkha Singh and Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. After these super-hit biopics one more is added to the list to motivate the audience i.e Soorma, which is based on the life of Former Indian Captain Sandeep Singh, who was paralyzed for two years and was on wheelchair after he met with gunshot accident in the year 2006. Not only this, he won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and get qualified for the 2012 Olympics. Th captain gave thumbs up to his biopic and not only this, he praised film-makers of making biopics on such personalities and inspiring people to be like one. You have to stay miles away from drugs if you want to play a sport." He further added "If biopics are made on sports and sports stars then a sports culture will develop in India. Through such biopics, you get to know that sports is a different world. It is important to inculcate sports culture in children because today, if we talk about India and not just north India, there is a major problem of drugs." According to the Singh sports plays a very crucial role in eliminating drugs addiction in the youth and will also inspire and motivate children to become like the sports stars. Giving up is not the only option, rather one must stand up like a rock and face the the challenges.
