It is said that money is answer to all the questions but it is also the root of all the problems. People go to lengths to earn money, some work hard while others look for shortcuts to earn quick bucks. Some sell off their character while others change their gender. Confused???? Well, here's the story how it unfolded: A 25-year old woman from Nainital in Uttarakhand allegedly dressed up as a man for four years, to con two women into marrying her. The woman (still posing as a man) was arrested when one of the wives complained of torture and harassment for dowry. A medical examination was carried out in the police custody to determine her 'real' gender. She changed her looks into a man and enticed women on Facebook. In 2014, she travelled to Kathgodam to meet a 'possible bride', reportedly named Kamini, she had befriended on the social networking site. Claiming to be the son of an Aligarh-based businessman, she convinced the family of being an ideal match. The two women got married later that year, and started living in a rented house in Haldwani. In the meantime, she also started to trap her next prey. Later in 2016, this con-lady trapped another woman from Kaladhungi area in Nainital district. Interestingly, this second bride was present in Sweety's first marriage. A case was filed by the first wife when Sweety duped her of Rs 8.5 lakhs, saying that it is needed for a factory she owned in Haridwar. The woman was arrested on the charges of impersonation, frauds and forgery this Valentine's day. Astonishingly, she was on her way to marry for the third time to a Dehradun based student. Sweety aka Krishna was allegedly accompanied by her mother, Nirmala Sen, in the frauds. The police is now sifting trough her marriage albums and videos to identify other people who assisted her in the fraud and forgery.
