BOLLYWOOD INDUSTRY COMES TOGETHER FOR HELPING KERALA

Kerala has been hit by the worst floods since 1924 and entire nation has come forward to hel the victims of Kerala. The entire B-town came forward and made contributions in their own ways. Actors took to their social media handles and spread awareness about the contribution. Recently Amitach Bachchan contributed a sum of 51 lakh and some of his personal belongings like coats, jackets and trousers to be sent for the victims of Kerala. Actress Jacqueline has contributed Rs 5 Lakh to an NGO named Habitat for Humanity India's Kerala Flood Relief Programme. Actors Sidhant Kapoor and Prateik Babbar have started a fund raiser organisation in Mumbai where Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor and wife Padmini Kohlapuri were present at the fund raiser organisation. Prateik said, "During the torubled and distressed times, it is our duty to come forward and help our fellow countrymen." Sunny Leone said, "Its sad that people don't have the basic ammenities like food for themselves. So Daniel and I am contributing in the form of food so that the people can get warm healthy food. This would make me and Daniel very happy." Siddhanth Kapoor talking about the generosity of Sunny said, "Sunny has got goods worth 1200 kg and we would have to rent another banquet for storing the goods she has got." The two said that proper care is being taken and they are making sure that the food directly goes into the hands of the victims. Arbaaz Khan who was also there to make the contributions said, "We all have to come outin every way possible and support the people and the countrymen. We all should contribute our bit and help Kerala bounce like before." But he took the ground duty and was seen serving food to the victims in Kerala in collaboration with Khalsa Aid. Khalsa Aid is a Sikh organisation who leave no stone unturned in helping any community in any part of the world when a disaster hits the area. Even we should go all out and contribute in out own way and help people in Kerala get their lives back on track soon.
