BOLLYWOOD IS ALSO A FAN OF THESE PUNJABI VOICES

Bollywood is a tough place to be at and survive. Constant struggle for quality work and sheer lakhs of dreams and aspirations! Carving a niche in such a competitive world are our Punjabi singers, who have taken B-Town by storm. Check out the list below:

1. DILJIT DOSANJH

Well, he started off with singing in Punjabi industry, gave out albums, then established his name as an impeccable comedy actor in movies like Jatt & Juliet and Sardarji series. Despite his strength in humorous, this turbanator kick started his Bollywood career with serious and reflective cinema 'Udta Punjab'. His good boy charm and melodious voice has enchanted every B-towner. And why not, Dosanjh is a bag of talents. Need proof? Watch out for him this year around and you'll know.

2. GURU RANDHAWA

Guru Randhawa Still quite new to stardom, Randhawa started his career in 2015 with the instant hit Patola. The young-gun moved to Bollywood with the recreation of his superhit track Suit Suit for Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium. Next came Ban Meri Rani in Tumhari Sulu and then a series of party numbers in almost every latest flick. Guru Randhawa's recent single Lahore made it to the Billboard top 25 chart. If this is not the proof of his unmatched talent, then what is?

3. BADSHAH

Badshah Undeniably, the Badshah of Rap, this man needs no introduction. A party, club night, DJ night, or any other celebration is absolutely incomplete without his songs on the playlist. Equally active in Bollywood and Pollywood and still making time to churn out singles like Kare Ja, Badshah's musical know-how is unparalleled, to say the least.

4. DALER MEHNDI

Daler Mehndi If you are a 90s kid and haven't danced on Tunak Tunak Tun, please tell us which planet are you from! Daler Mehndi is the King of Punjabi Pop, who actually brought Punjabi dance numbers to the mainstream platforms. Famous for his roaring voice, his title track for Aamir Khan-starrer Rang De Basanti is a patriotic anthem for the young blood. Earning the well-deserved fame in Bollywood, the singer has also sung for various South Indian movies, latest being the blockbuster Bahubali-series. Currently, Mehndi is preparing for his next musical venture in Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan-starrer Sui Dhaaga.

5. GURDAS MAAN

Gurdas Maan Does this living legend need any introduction? He is the Maan of Punjab and is the man who paved the way to B-Town for all the future generations. He has starred in Bollywood movies, sang for them and, precisely, told the Mumbai based industry that Punjabis are more than rib-tickling, joke-cracking community. We mean serious business when put to work. Indeed, Pollywood proudly reiterates for Maan Sahab 'Tere Kurbaan jaawan!' (his famous track in YRF's Veer Zara).
