CHECKOUT AJAY DEVGN'S FRESH NEW LOOK FROM 'TAANAJI-THE UNSUNG WARRIOR'

As we have already told you that Ajay Devgn is working on one of his most ambitious film projects from a very long time. The film we are talking about is ‘Taanaji’ which is based on the life of a Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare.

Taanaji - The Unsung Warrior's shoot is still underway and it will release later this year. Though not much is known about the film except for the fact that it also features Saif Ali Khan in the lead and is based on the life of Taanaji Malusare, who was a superintendent in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s army.

The film will see Ajay Devgn in the titular role and Saif Ali Khan as the opposing force in the form of the Rajput warrior Udaybhan Rathod. It'll be interesting to see the two actors going head to head once again thirteen years after the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial Omkara.

Back in 2018 the makers of this film have revealed the actor’s first look from the film. Now, as 2018 has ended, the makers of this film have welcomed the new year with a new picture from his film that showcases Ajay as a warrior.

The picture shows Ajay as Taanaji and his men descending through what looks like a gorge in the mountains with the help of thick ropes. Dressed in white dhoti, kamarbandh (waistband), armor, pagdi (headgear) and with his face half covered, Taanaji looks set for a clash. The intense look in Ajay’s eyes is sure not to miss.

In the last few years, Bollywood has seen a drastic change in terms of movies we are getting to see. Most of the filmmakers are now coming out with a well-planned marketing strategy to cash in the most out of a film. If we look back in the year 2018, then this year we got to see movies such as ‘Raazi’, ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Sanju’.

All the three films were somewhere inspired by true life incidents and the chain will continue in the year 2019. The year will begin with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Uri’ which is based on the deadly cross-border attacks in the Indian state of Kashmir’s Uri subdivision. Soon after this, the makers will get to see an epic drama ‘Manikarnika’.

The year will witness Ajay Devgn in a series of films with Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De and Turram Khan.
