The winter seems to be worsening in the capital, New Delhi and Near Capital Region. Chandigarh, the city beautiful is also facing one of the worst fogs of this winter. It started getting worse since New Year's Eve making everyone's start to 2018 quite a rough one. While roads are facing heavy traffic, several flights have been delayed and trains canceled. A total of Ten flights were canceled on 1st January. Plus another Thirteen flights got delayed at the Chandigarh International Airport on Monday. As the fog became denser, visibility has reduced. To save the passengers from inconvenience, airline operators have announced to send flight status updates on passenger's mobile phones. Apparently, operators had issued an advisory to passengers to mention their mobile phone numbers while booking air tickets. Apart from this, people traveling via trains will also be suffering a lot. On Monday, more than 20 trains arrived late including The Kalka Mail, Ajmer Chandigarh Garib Rath, Sahrasa-Amritsar and many more. Most of these trains were late by minimum two and maximum five hours. According to AccuWeather, Chandigarh will have a hazy weather for a few days.
