It was just a week ago when the news of a clash between two biopics stormed the internet. Diljit Dosanjh's Hockey biopic Soorma and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Dutt Biopic were said to be releasing on the same date. Earlier it was just Soorma that was releasing on June 29 but the Dutt Biopic postponed it's release from March 30 to the same date as Soorma. As the movies came for a clash, the competition sure became tough. But we won't be witnessing any clash now. Apparently, Diljit Dosanjh's Soorma has now been pushed further July. The makers have decided to release it now on July 6. Leading entertainment portal DNA quoted Diljit Dosanjh,
I’m not aware but I have heard that it will probably release on 6 July though the date is yet to be finalised. The producers will know better[caption id="attachment_24589" align="alignnone" width="641"] 'Soorma' poster[/caption] Soorma depicts the story of former Indian Hockey Captain Sandeep Singh went through a very unfortunate accident but came back miraculously. The movie stars Taapsee Panu in the female lead along with Diljit Dosanjh. Directed by Shaad Ali the movie is being produced by Chitrangada Singh and Sneha Rajani. The year has seen already seen a lot of adjustments in the release dates of some of the biggest movie. Apparently, these movies are facing the changes because of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial epic drama Padmavat. The movie struggled a lot to get a certificate and release date. Padmavat which was earlier rumored to release on February 9 will now be released on January 25. Because of which movies like Hate Story 4, Aiyaari and Pari had to change their release dates as well. Now these movies will be releasing on March 9, February 9 and March 2 respectively.
